As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly meaningful year for the Canadian FAIT Foundation.
This was our first full year as a registered charitable foundation, and what a year it has been. From growing our community to expanding education and advocacy around food allergy immunotherapy, 2025 marked a significant step forward in turning our vision into impact.
In September, we hosted our inaugural FAIT Symposium in Vancouver - a first-of-its-kind educational event focused on food allergy immunotherapy in Canada. Clinicians, researchers, and supporters from across the country came together to share knowledge, discuss best practices, and explore ways to improve access to evidence-based care for families navigating food allergies.
In November, we proudly held our 3rd Annual Festivus for FAIT, our signature fundraising and community celebration. This inspiring evening brought together families, partners, clinicians, and supporters for connection, conversation, and a shared commitment to changing the future of food allergy care. Proceeds from Festivus directly support the FAIT Program and our ongoing work to expand awareness, education, and access.
Throughout the year, we also continued to elevate the voices of families, support education initiatives, and build momentum around the importance of accessible, evidence-based food allergy treatment across Canada.
We are deeply thankful to our volunteers, donors, board members, clinicians, researchers, speakers, sponsors, and community members who made our first full year possible. Your belief in this work (and in what’s possible) continues to move us forward.
Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited to build this foundation with even more education, collaboration, and impact.
From all of us at the Canadian FAIT Foundation, thank you for being part of our journey!
We wish you a healthy, hopeful new year.
