Dr. James Bergman

Dr Bergman practices both Pediatric Allergy and Pediatric Dermatology at the Pediatric Allergy Dermatology Centre in Vancouver, BC. He completed his Pediatric residency and fellowship in Allergy and clinical Immunology  at the University of Manitoba. He also completed a residency in Dermatology at UBC and a Pediatric Dermatology fellowship at UCSD. Dr Bergman is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at UBC. 

Dr. Scott Cameron

Dr. Scott Cameron is a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Allergy at the University of British Columbia. His research focuses on oral immunotherapy and patient education; he is a co-author of the CSACI guidelines on OIT and has developed educational videos on epinephrine use, available on YouTube. In 2025, he received the BCSAI Advocacy Award for his contributions to patient-centered care in allergy and immunology. Dr. Cameron also serves as Research Director for the Island Medical Program’s Pediatric Residency and as the community representative on the national Distributed Academic Half-Day Committee for Allergy and Immunology fellows. 

Dr. Edmond Chan

Dr. Edmond S. Chan is a Pediatric Allergist at the BC Children's Hospital Allergy Clinic in Vancouver, BC, Canada.  He is a University of British Columbia Clinical Professor, Clinical Investigator (BCCH Research Institute), and Head of the UBC Division of Allergy at BCCH, where he leads a dedicated food allergy research program.  His primary interest is food allergy, and his secondary interest is eosinophilic esophagitis. 

Dr. Victoria Cook

Dr. Victoria E. Cook is a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Allergy at the University of British Columbia. She has a busy community-based practice in Victoria and an appointment at BCCH where she provides outreach and virtual care to patients in northern BC.  She is a board member with the CSACI, currently serving as Chair of the Education Committee. She is involved in resident training for the UBC Pediatric Allergy and Immunology training program. She participates in several research and quality improvement initiatives focusing on improving access to care. 

Ravinder Dhaliwal, RN

Rav Dhaliwal is a Registered Nurse with nearly 20 years of pediatric experience, including over a decade in pediatric emergency care. Since 2021, she has served as a Research Allergy Nurse with the Food Allergy Immunotherapy (FAIT) Program at BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute. Rav brings a unique dual perspective to her work — both as a clinician and as a parent of a child who successfully completed FAIT’s oral immunotherapy (OIT) program. This lived experience informs her empathetic and practical approach to supporting families navigating food allergy treatment. At FAIT, Rav guides patients and caregivers through sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT), offering support with food sourcing, recipe preparation, virtual dose supervision, and education around managing treatment through illness, travel, and everyday life. Her combined clinical expertise and personal experience offer valuable insight into the evolving landscape of food allergy management and immunotherapy.

Dr. Arun Dhir

Dr. Arun Dhir is a community Allergy and Immunology specialist practicing in the Lower Mainland. He completed his specialty training in Adult Clinical Immunology and Allergy at the University of British Columbia, where he also earned his MD and completed his Internal Medicine residency. Dr. Dhir’s clinical and research interests include eosinophilic esophagitis, hereditary angioedema, and drug hypersensitivity. He is working towards establishing a new interdisciplinary eosinophilic esophagitis clinic based at St. Paul’s Hospital, designed to co-manage complex patients through the combined expertise of an allergist and a gastroenterologist. 

Dr. Vicky LeBlanc

Dr. Vicky Le Blanc is a Pediatric Allergist at BCCH. She received her MD at the University of Sherbrooke in Québec and completed her pediatric residency at the CHU Ste-Justine at the University of Montréal. She completed her fellowship training in allergy and clinical immunology at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. Her primary areas of clinic interest and research are in food allergy, including oral immunotherapy and food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome.

Dr. Raymond Mak

Dr. Raymond Mak is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, physician lead of allergy at BC Children's Hospital and the Division Head of Allergy and Immunology at Vancouver General Hospital.  He is the principal investigator on the FAIT Adolescent Transition Program, a pilot project for adolescents to understand their food allergy treatment journey as they transition from pediatric to adult care. 

Lianne Soller, PhD

Dr. Lianne Soller is the Allergy Research Manager and FAIT Program Manager with the University of British Columbia Division of Allergy. Dr. Soller leads several research initiatives including clinical trials, and studies on the development and implementation of "grocery store" treatments like SLIT for older children/adolescents. Dr. Soller has published several important papers, including safety and effectiveness of multi-food sublingual immunotherapy in a real world setting. Dr. Soller is also part of the CSACI OIT manual working group.

Dr. Jennifer Tong

Dr. Jennifer Y. Tong is a family physician with enhanced skills training in mental health who has a special interest in serving families with food allergies.  She is the Thriving Families Program physician at the BC Children’s Hospital Allergy Clinic, a program offering supportive education and skills-building therapy to families managing stress and anxiety related to allergy.  Dr. Tong is a Clinical Instructor with UBC Faculty of Medicine and also works at VanPsych, an interdisciplinary mental health clinic in Vancouver.

Brock Williams, PhD

Dr. Brock Williams is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Division of Allergy at the University of British Columbia. He completed his PhD in Human Nutrition at the University of British Columbia and has worked as Registered Dietitian in a variety of research and clinical roles, with specialization in the areas of Allergy, General Pediatrics and Gastroenterology/Hepatology/Nutrition.

Dr. Joanne Yeung

Dr. Joanne Yeung is a Clinical Instructor with the UBC Department of Pediatrics and an associate member of the Department of Medicine. Her community practice, Vancouver Kids Allergy, treats infants to young adults. She actively contributes to clinical research on food allergy treatment. She enjoys spending time with her 2 kids and 2 dogs and training for marathons.

Dr. Tiffany Wong

Dr. Tiffany Wong is a pediatric allergy physician at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. She  received her MD at UBC, Pediatric residency at the University of Calgary, followed by further specialty training in Allergy and Immunology at UBC. She has served as the Medical Lead for the BCCH Allergy Clinic and treats children with allergic disorders including food, venom, environmental, drug allergy using various forms of immunotherapy. She has an interest in asthma and works with the multidisciplinary severe asthma clinic at BCCH.
